Detailed description

The CozIR Ambient CO2 sensors are designed to monitor CO2 in "breathable" air - covering up to 10,000ppm. CozIR sensors are ideal for monitoring CO2 in buildings, schools, offices or outdoors.  (For high CO2 concentrations, see our industrial sensors).

CozIR Ambient CO2 sensors consume only 3.5mW in continuous operation, with two carbon dioxide measurements per second, and typically consume 50 times less power than standard NDIR sensors.

CozIR sensors’ combination of extremely low power consumption and instantaneous warm-up answers directly to the growing demand for sensors which can be integrated into battery or self powered wireless systems, allowing real-time monitoring of CO2 concentration levels.  Optional temperature and humidity sensing are available on request.
