GSS Newsletter July 2023

Sensor + Test 2023

At the beginning of May, Graeme Addison, our Quality and Operations Manager and Neil Cairns, our Applications Manager, packed up our exhibition stand and headed off for 3 days showcasing our sensors and technology at Sensor + Test in Nuremberg, Germany.  With 133 exhibiting companies from 26 countries, times were on their way back to some sort of “pre-covid normality”!

They enjoyed meeting new and existing customers and partners who visited our stand, as well as visiting our customers stands to find out how they were integrating our sensors into their products.

EXCITING PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT NEWS!

As many other technology companies have found over the last few years, trying to source components that were normally available has become more and more difficult.

With this, GSS has been updating the electronics on our current core products to use components more available in today’s supply chain.  The core products will still have the same form, fit and function as the existing CO2 sensors.

The products will start to roll out in August 2023 with the launch of the updated ExplorIR-M (new MPN  ExplorIR-M-2), other sensors will then be rolled out throughout the latter part of 2023.

We will of course, be in touch with all our customers who purchase our sensors with more information and technical documentation before we commence shipping to enable relevant testing to be undertaken where necessary.

The new suite of sensors will assist GSS in managing our supply chain and thereby improve the lead times we can offer our customers.

Organisational Changes

We would like to take this opportunity to thank John for all his hard work at GSS and wish him all the very best in the future.
